Go to your project in FinalBit and click the "Add New Script"
Click Upload script and choose your file (PDF or Final Draft .fdx are fully supported).
Once the script finishes uploading, open the Breakdown tool from the Tools menu from toolbar inside your project
For Pro users, click the Automatic Breakdown button to let FinalBit scan the entire script and tag standard production elements (characters, locations, props, costumes, day/night, etc.) in a single pass.
Review the breakdown scene by scene, adjust tags, and add custom categories so it matches your production’s workflow.
If you update your script later, FinalBit keeps your breakdown in sync so you don’t have to start over every time the draft changes.
