Can I increase the font size when exporting my script to PDF?

How to Increase Font Size on Screenplay Exports | FinalBit

Yes, you can! While the industry standard for scripts is strictly 12-point Courier, we know that sometimes you need larger text for table reads, actor accessibility, or just easier reading on a tablet.

As a flexible screenplay writing tool, FinalBit allows you to easily customize screenplay exports to fit your production needs.

How to change your font size on export:

  1. Navigate to the Export menu in your project.

  2. Before clicking download PDF, look for the Export Settings / Customization options on the right side.

  3. Adjust the font size to your preferred readability level and click Apply.

  4. Export your PDF

โš ๏ธ Important Industry Note:

Keep in mind that increasing the font size will change your document's overall page count and break the standard "one page equals one minute of screen time" rule. If you are officially submitting your script to a studio, agency, or screenwriting competition, we highly recommend switching your settings back to the default 12-point font to ensure industry-standard formatting.
