Setup (do this once)
Open your project and switch to the Storyboard module.
On the left, the Scenes tab lists every scene from your script. Click a scene to work on it.
Optional but recommended: open the Characters tab and set up your characters first. This lets you turn on "Use character reference" later, which the app says gives about 98% character consistency across the storyboard.
Option 1: Bulk-generate the whole script
In the top bar, click Sketch Scenes... (the tooltip says "Set AI directions to sketch active or all scenes"). The dialog is titled Sketch All Scenes.
Leave Sketch for selected scene only unticked.
Set your global settings: Aspect Ratio (16:9 by default), Image Style (Cinematic by default), Color Palette, Mood/Atmosphere, Weather Condition, and Year/Era.
Click Submit.
The dialog warns that this will override your existing storyboard, so don't run it on a project where you've already made frames you want to keep.
Option 2: Generate one scene at a time
Click the scene you want in the left Scenes list.
Click Sketch Scenes... again.
Tick Sketch for selected scene only.
Set the style, aspect ratio, mood, and other options, then click Submit.
Review the frames it creates, then move on to the next scene.
This is the safer way to try it, because it only affects the scene you picked.
Option 3: Build shot by shot
Open a scene and click a frame's Click to edit the shot area. The Draw Scene editor opens. To add more frames, there is a Storyboard Frame tool in the bottom toolbar, but I didn't test it.
Pick a Shot type from the dropdown. It's grouped, for example Close Ups (Close up, Medium Close-Up, Extreme Close-Up, Wide Close-Up) and Medium Shots (Medium Shot, Close shot, and more).
Fill in the Description (required). It starts with the scene heading, so replace it with what's actually in the shot: who, what they're doing, and the setting.
Choose the Image Style (default is Sketch) and Aspect Ratio, and tick Use character reference if you want it.
Click Create Shot to generate the image, or Upload to use your own picture.
Check the result in the Shot/Scene Editor panel. Regenerate or tweak the description if it's off.
Click Insert Shot to put it on the board. Download saves the image, and Cancel discards it.
